 Lewis F Cobb MBE Port Chaplin of the Missions to seamen Dar es Salaam kindly contributed improvements to the description of Ringwood.  He was born in Ringwood in 1938 at 182 Southampton Rd.  He was at various times Choirboy, Server, Bell ringer Church Clock winder and Church Councillor.  He remembers going to school in Brokenhurst on the train from Ringwood.
